Introducing... 2nd Generation Hurom Slow Juicer
The Hurom 2nd generations' most significant improvement is the strainer. The pulp ejection outlet on the strainer now has a larger opening for improved pulp ejection.
The Hurom Slow juicer takes the single auger design a step further and makes it vertical. It juices fruits, vegetables, sprouts, leafy greens and even wheatgrass, slowly and efficiently. You can also use it to make raw banana ice cream.

Because of Hurom's patented Low Speed Type Screw (LSTS) technology, the resultant juice retains more vitamins and antioxidants, making it more healthful and tasty. It will also increase storage time and result in less oxidation.
Slow juicing is done in two stages resulting in more juice and dryer pulp each time. It generally yields more juice than other juicing methods. The juice is generally less foamy and doesn't separate.
Hurom Juicer Versatility
This faster, quieter, smaller machine, besides healthy juice, also makes almond milk, soy milk, sesame milk, rice milk, chia seed milk, banana ice cream, wheatgrass juice and more.

Hurom Juicing Tips
When using the Hurom juicer, although mostly an issue with the 1st generation machine, you can end up with quite a bit of pulp in the juice. This has mostly been rectified in the Hurom second generation juicer because the pulp ejection outlet on the strainer now has a larger opening. However, this can still be an issue depending on what you are juicing and how you are juicing it.
I find that with the Hurom, you don't need to shove food into it like with other juicers. In fact, shoving the food may result in the "pulp in juice" issues. This slow juicer wants the food to be put in a bit slower and with less force. You can even juice one leaf at a time for leafy greens and no need to "ball" up grasses anymore, just put small bunches in at a time for optimal juicing. Believe me, in the end, you still end up saving time (especially with cleanup).
It's also a good idea to juice low-fiber fruits and veggies first and save the more stringy, fibrous plants for last, for better results.
If you still feel there is too much pulp in the juice (unless you like a little natural plant fiber), you can strain the juice through a nut milk bag, or even better, pour the juice back in for another round... it only takes a second.
